This joint programme is offered by Mykolas Romeris University - MRU (Lituanie) and Université Savoie Mont Blanc -USMB (France). First year of studies is held at MRU, second year at USMB . Graduates of this programme will be awarded with two diplomas - one issued by MRU, the other by USMB. The programm is taught in English - lectures face to face. Thus perfect command of English (this double Master's degree in Business Law conducted with the Mykolas Romeris University of Vilnius is taught 100% in English) and the nature of the training opens up high-level international horizons

Objectifs

The objective of European and International Business Law programme is to prepare highly qualified business law specialists, who are able to provide legal advice to the transnational and European business environment, to explain the latest business law issues and trends, to analyse and assess business-related legal situations, promptly and effectively deal with legal problems faced by business, conduct research and provide suggestions for the legislator on the improvement of business environment regulation.

- Expression / Mobilisation at a high level of English proficiency

- Management of the various legal problems that companies may face

- Consideration of the financial and commercial constraints of companies

- Providing leading legal expertise on dispute resolution procedures

- Application of rules and principles relating to international contracts (European Union focus)

- Analysis and drafting of international contracts

- Handling of international litigation files

Dimension internationale

    First year (M1) of studies is held at MRU (Lithuania), second year (M2) at USMB. Graduates of this programme will be awarded with two diplomas - one issued by MRU, the other by USMB.

- Providing legal advice to the transnational and European business environment

- Explain the latest issues and trends in European and international business law

- Analyze and evaluate the legal situations related to the cases

- Dealing quickly and efficiently with legal problems encountered by businesses

- Conducting research and making suggestions to legislators on improving business regulation

- Bringing a multicultural approach to law

- Argue (in writing and orally), convince and explain

- Understanding the client's or company's environment in its entirety and transversally (fiscal, social, competition, industrial, financial, corporate or contractual, organisational and managerial).

Note: the semester 4 of the second year is devoted to an internship in the field (in Europe in priority) and to the defence of a Master thesis written in English (see below).

This programme is dedicated to students good students, holding a bachelor degree (or its equivalent) looking for a high level qualification in European and International Law. This master's degree is intended for any good undergraduate student (preferably in Law) wishing to follow a highly professional training course, the value of which is recognized.

Attendus de la formation

Applicants enrolling for the joint European and International Business Law master degree programme (implemented in English) must meet the following criteria: 1) have a bachelor’s degree (or its equivalent) in law from a university; 2) have a sufficient knowledge of the English language (no less than the B2 level (according to the “Common European Framework of Reference for Languages", adopted by the European Council).

Acquisition of a master’s degree in law entitles to continue studies in the legal area and other fields of research (social science) in the third cycle of studies (PhD) and to acquire a PhD in social sciences.
